How do you get relief from the cold north winds of
the Canadian climate? Just say “PVM”. Puerto Vallarta,
Mexico. Set amidst the magnificent Sierra Madre mountains,

sea fishing, snorkeling, hot air ballooning, kayaking,
jungle tours, horse back riding and excursions to over 30
art galleries and public buildings are at your doorstep for
you to enjoy. If your idea of traveling and sightseeing
includes wildlife you will be excited to know that the
humpback whale winters in Banderas Bay every year. Other
ocean attractions include the dolphins, giant manta and sea
turtles. Avid bird watchers will thrive in this tropical
region as they experience the sighting of the “Laughing
Falcon” or “Blue Footed Booby.” More than 100 exotic birds
reside in the Puerto Vallarta area.
Puerto Vallarta transportation is easily accessed through
the abundant supply of taxis that operate throughout the
town. The average fare is about $3.00 USD. Traveling the
length of the town will cost about $6.00 USD. Interestingly
enough taxi fares are posted in the daily newspaper and most
major hotels. Remember you are in Mexico and Mexican
entrepreneurs are renowned for price negotiation even on
travel expenses.
It used to be that buying real estate was cash deals only in
Mexico; this is no longer true. Financing for real estate
within Mexico can be arranged. So don’t let the information
